All Beef Catering and Smokehouse was founded in 1984. The husband and wife team of Joe and Carol Irving ventured into the banquet and catering market with each having more than fifteen years of experience in the food and beverage industry. They had a simple philosophy – “Give people what they want."
Years of experience in the industry indicated roast beef was requested most often, so the choice was obvious. All Beef…No Bull.
Today, All Beef Catering and Smokehouse is owned by Don Saviak and run by himself and long-time employee Brad Harapiak. The pair have been working hard to transform and modernize the image and experience of All Beef Catering and Smokehouse. Don's philosophy stems back to the roots of the company more than 30 years ago: simple ingredients that taste great. Don has completely revamped the menu at the Smokehouse to reflect simplicity and great taste, highlighting the quality of our ingredients. With Don's experience on both ends of the All Beef spectrum and Brad's past experience with Don and his media and communications background they have turned All Beef Catering and Smokehouse into a must-eat Calgary location.
The long trusted standards of quality meals served hot and on time is a point of pride for All Beef. With an evolving focus on people’s demands, the dedicated team at All Beef Catering and Smokehouse have concentrated their efforts in providing dependable, affordable, and quality catering services to both private individuals and the business community. The management and staff have never veered from the tried-and-true course of supplying quality food, customer service, and good value for your money. Exceptional value never goes unnoticed. As a direct result of these efforts, All Beef Catering and Smokehouse has grown to become one of the most sought after catering services available in Calgary. In addition to catering and the eatery, All Beef positioned itself at the Calgary Soccer Centre lounge.
With the continuing affect of COVID-19 on restaurants and catering, All Beef will continue to adapt our catering and dine-in experiences so that everybody is able to enjoy our food safely and we are all able to stay healthy, this will include the continuation of our take-and-bake meals, prepared ready to cook meals, and virtual cook-alongs among other experiences.
We are very proud to say that we are a sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly company. All of our food containers, cutlery, and napkins are compostable. We have also chosen to switch from bottles to cans of pop due to environmental and sustainability factors as well. Finally, we have stopped using straws at our dine-in Smokehouse due to environmental concerns. We are focused on not only being at the forefront of taste and experience in our city, but being a leader in environmentally-friendly practices.

Our Catering and Smokehouse Staff

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure your All-Beef experience is as memorable as it is delicious. For your special event, all staff wear white shirts/blouses, black pants/slacks, bow ties and black aprons with our company logo.
We use “AAA” Alberta beef, carefully aged and slowly roasted with care, and serve it with a selection of mouth-watering sides. The meals are served buffet style, but we don’t just put them out and let you fend for yourselves, staff serve all the hot items on the buffet. The beef is carved from the roast for each and every individual guest. This permits each person to select the beef the way they prefer it, as opposed to what they would get if it were pre-cut and placed on a tray.
